Hose clamps are mainly divided into three types: British style, American style and German style. In addition, there are other derivative products such as pipe bundles and European standard hose clamps. English hose clamp: the material is galvanized, commonly known as iron galvanized, with moderate torque, cheap price and wide application range. German hose clamp: the material is iron, the surface is galvanized. The buckle is stamped and formed, with high torque and moderately high price. The market share is low due to the high cost of production. American hose clamps: divided into two types: galvanized iron and stainless steel. The main difference is that the buckle distance is perforated (that is, through the eye buckle). The market is mainly made of stainless steel, which is mainly used in high-end markets such as auto parts. Its price is higher than the other two.

The commonly used materials for American hose clamps are: stainless steel (201/304/316), and the surface of carbon steel is plated with white zinc. Because the occlusal groove of the American hose clamp steel belt is passed through, and the teeth of the screw are embedded, so it is more powerful and precise when locked. But because the steel strip is self-permeable, the steel strip is easy to break when the pulling force is strong. This tensile performance is relatively stronger than the German hose clamp. The hose clamp is widely used in the leather hose connection of automobile pipelines, water pumps, fans, food machinery, chemical machinery and other industrial equipment. The occlusal groove on the steel band of the American hose clamp is transparent, hollowed out and stamped, and has two groove shapes,  rectangular hole and willow leaf hole. The worm wheel screw on the hose clamp, the thread is embedded in the groove, and the screw is generally used to tighten the diameter of the steel belt of the hose clamp, so as to achieve the locking effect.
